Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of a 6-month Guolin Qigong on quality of life and serum cortisol among patients with cancer.
Methods: This study was a two-arm and non-randomized controlled trial. Forty-nine patients with cancer who were over 18 years of age and diagnosed with cancer were enrolled in this study and assigned to either the Guolin Qigong intervention group (IG, n = 26) or the usual care group (UC, n = 23) for 6 months.

Imbalances in several trace elements related to antioxidant function may lead to autism spectrum disorder (ASD)-related physiological dysfunction. Nonetheless, contradictory results have been found on the connection between these elements and ASD, and studies of their joint effects and interactions have been insufficient. We therefore designed a case-control study of 152 ASD children and 152 age- and sex-matched typically developing (TD) children to explore the individual and combined associations of manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), and selenium (Se) with ASD.

Aim: Hypothyroidism is created by disruption of thyroid hormone production, which can destroy the emotional, relational, social, and working life of patients if left untreated. Hypothyroidism has multiple etiologies. However, its molecular mechanisms are unclear. This study aimed to investigate the molecular mechanisms of HSYLF and clarify how network pharmacology analysis guides the design of animal experiments, including the selection of effective treatment doses and key targets, to ensure the relevance of the experimental results.
