Malunion remains the most common complication following fracture of the distal radius. Deformities can be observed in all three planes with displacement in dorsal or palmar tilt, translation, shortening and axial rotation. Preoperative evaluation requires a comparative analysis with clinical, radiological and scanographic assessment.

The authors report an unusual ultrasonographic aspect of hydatic cyst of kidney. They point out the importance of computed tomography in atypic hydatid cysts. Semiologic analysis of ultrasonographic and scanographic patterns, leads usually to the diagnosis of atypic hydatid cyst, in addition with serologic examination.

The tomodensitometric image given to Odontologist is previously a "worked" image by radiologist. Therefore, a same anatomical structure may present different even opposite aspects. Understanding the scanographic technic is indispensable before prescribing and interpretating these numerics images.
