The clinical efficacy of 0.05% diflorasone diacetate applied once daily, for eczematous dermatoses, was compared with the twice daily application of betamethasone valerate. Both agents were supplied as ointments. Sixty patients were randomized to one of the two treatment regimens. The investigators were unaware of the regimen used. Evaluations were made at 1 and at 3 weeks. There were no statistically significant differences in eight parameters studied at any time during the study. No side-effects were reported.

Recent studies on iodine biofortification of potato have documented various iodine contents in tubers: from very low to such covering the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA-I). The aim of the work was to evaluate the efficiency of iodine biofortification of potato using six iodoquinolines applied in two doses, with KIO as a reference compound. The mineral status of potato plants and the nutritional and health-promoting value of tubers were also studied.

Background: Knee loading is associated with the severity and progression of knee osteoarthritis, while knee pain contributes to reduced functional ability and quality of life. In this systematic review, we quantified knee loading and knee pain during different daily activities in people with knee osteoarthritis and explored methodological reasons for differences between studies.
Methods: PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, and manual searches were performed up to July 2024, to retrieve studies measuring knee loading and knee pain in walking, sit-to-stand and stair climbing of people with knee osteoarthritis.
