Background: Zinc finger proteins (ZNFs) have been proved to play important roles in driving the progression of breast cancer (BC), one of the most common cancers among women. This study aimed to investigate the involvement of zinc-finger SWIM domain-containing protein 3 () in promoting BC cell progression by regulating lipid metabolism.
Methods: Differential expression of in BC was confirmed by comparing its expression in normal human mammary epithelial cells and BC cells.

The toxicity of tris (2-butoxyethyl) phosphate (TBOEP) has been extensively investigated because of its prevalence in the environment. Nevertheless, the risk factors associated with maternal transmission are poorly understood. In this study, sexually mature female zebrafish were treated with TBOEP (0, 20, 100, and 500 μg/L) for 30 days and were mated with unexposed males.

Context: Thyroid hormones play a crucial role in metabolic regulation and maintaining cardiovascular homeostasis. The Parametric Thyroid Feedback Quantile-based Index (PTFQI) assesses central thyroid hormone sensitivity by standardizing the inverse relationship between free thyroxine (T4) and thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH).
Objective: To investigate the relationship between PTFQI and cardiovascular risk in the euthyroid Korean population.

Chest computed tomography (CT) is the most frequently performed imaging examination worldwide. Compared with chest radiography, chest CT greatly improves the detection rate and diagnostic accuracy of chest lesions because of the absence of overlapping structures and is the best imaging technique for the observation of chest lesions. However, there are still frequently missed diagnoses during the interpretation process, especially in certain areas or "blind spots", which may possibly be overlooked by radiologists.

Infantile haemangiomas are a common presentation in infants within the first few months of life. The majority of haemangiomas are benign; however, large haemangiomas (≥5 cm), especially those involving the face, may indicate a more serious underlying neurocutaneous disorder known as PHACE (Posterior fossa malformations, Haemangioma, Arterial anomalies, Coarctation of the aorta/Cardiac defects and Eye abnormalities) syndrome. The authors report an unusual case of possible PHACE syndrome in a young male toddler with a large facial haemangioma.
