Introduction: Transient stress urinary incontinence (SUI) after holmium laser enucleation of prostate (HoLEP) is commonly linked to intraoperative injury of the external urethral sphincter (EUS). We assessed the reliability of the post-HoLEP endoscopic appearance of the membranous urethra mucosa (MUM) in predicting post-HoLEP continence.
Methods: Forty HoLEPs were prospectively recorded by an artificial intelligence video platform capable of segmenting clips by surgical steps.

Background: The T4 rectal cancers indicate beyond total mesorectal excision (TME) plane dissection with en bloc multivisceral resection for achieving R0 resection. Recent studies emphasize the feasibility and safety of minimally invasive surgery in selected T4 rectal cancers. This study demonstrates a stepwise approach for robotic total pelvic exenteration (TPE) with en bloc presacral fascia in T4b rectal cancer, focusing on the internal iliac vessel branches management and presacral fascia resection.

Objective: To determine the objective and subjective outcomes of a Combined anterior trans-obturator mesh (Surelift-A) and sacrospinous ligament fixation (SSF) for advanced pelvic organ prolapse (POP), along with the evaluation of surgical complications, postoperative impact on quality of life (QoL), and lower urinary tract symptoms.
Methods: Retrospective cohort study in a tertiary center from May 2021-December 2022 included 150 patients with symptomatic anterior or apical POP stage III and IV, who underwent pelvic reconstructive surgery with Surelift-A mesh combined with SSF. All completed a 72-h voiding diary, urodynamic study (UDS), and multiple validated QoL questionnaires at baseline, 6 and 12 months postoperatively.

Introduction: Colorectal perforations can arise from various causes. The most common cause of the colorectal perforations is diverticulitis, while tumors account for only a small part. Perforations frequently occur in older patients, particularly in the sigmoid colon, and distinguishing between those caused by diverticulitis and colorectal cancer can be clinically challenging.

We herein report a case of successful laparoscopically assisted vulvar reconstruction using the gluteal fold flap for anterior enterocele following robot-assisted radical cystectomy.
Case Presentation: A 71-year-old Japanese woman underwent robot-assisted radical cystectomy for bladder cancer (ypT1ypN1M0).
