Radiophotographically Controlled Nasointestinal Intubation to Treat Recurrent Postoperative Adhesive Ileus.

Cell Biochem Biophys

June 2015

Department of Digestion, Affiliated Xuzhou Hospital, The Central Hospital of Xuzhou, Dongnan University, Xuzhou, 221009, Jiangsu, China.

This study describes clinical experience and curative effect of radiophotographically controlled nasointestinal intubation in the treatment of small intestine arrangement in recurrent postoperative adhesive ileus. A 300-cm-long nasointestinal tube was installed into the jejunum through the nasal cavity under radiophotographic observation in 25 patients with recurrent postoperative adhesive ileus. The tube was advanced into the ileum by enterokinesia to relieve adhesive ileus and conduct small bowel arrangement.

Purpose: Local application of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) was examined to determine whether it is effective in promoting bone regeneration.

Methods: We operated on live 6-week male SD rat mandibular bone tissue to prepare bone defects in order to attempt the guided bone regeneration (GBR) method. Laboratory animals were divided into 3 groups: the control group, the fibrin group, and the VEGF group.

Our X-ray systems study group measured and examined the characteristics of four transportable inverter-type X-ray equipments. X-ray tube voltage and X-ray tube current were measured with the X-ray tube voltage and the X-ray tube current measurement terminals provided with the equipment. X-ray tube voltage, irradiation time, and dose were measured with a non-invasive X-ray tube voltage-measuring device, and X-ray output was measured by fluorescence meter.

By cutting different ligaments and the distal end of radius of 20 fresh specimens with radiophotographic records, the author explored the mechanism of formation and traumatic anatomy of Colles' fracture with dorsal radio-carpal subluxation (DRSA). The results of experimental studies indicate that under normal condition, the change of radiolunate angle has some influence on the displacement of central point of lunate (CPL) but does not lead to DRS. The first is the rupture of the dorsal and palmar ligaments of radiocarpal joint and the second is the fracture of distal end of radius with a reversed palmar tilting angle of articular surface of distal radius.

[The role of radiophotography in tuberculosis control programs in Poland].

Pneumonol Alergol Pol

March 1993

Zakładu Epidemiologii Instytutu Gruźlicy i Chorób Płuc w Warszawie.

The role of mass radiophotography in Poland in the years 1985-1898 is presented basing on routine data from Antituberculous Centers and Radiophotographic Units. Mass radiophotography detects approximately 30% of new registered pulmonary tuberculosis cases. In the analysed period the number of radiophotographic examinations systematically fell.
