HBT-DPI was a single-molecule multi-conformational fluorescent material and had unique applications for hydrophobic/hydrophilic mapping on large-scale heterogeneous surfaces. In this paper, the different proton transfer processes and luminescence mechanisms of HBT-DPI in Dichloromethane (DCM, no hydrogen bond (HB) receptor) and N, N-Dimethylformamide (DMF, HB receptor) solvents were systematically studied. Using the quantum chemistry method, the stable structures of HBT-DPI in two solvents were determined based on the Boltzmann distribution.

The strong interaction between organic electrode materials (OEMs) and electrolyte components induces a high solubility tendency of OEMs, thus hindering the practical application of lithium-organic batteries. Herein, we propose an efficient strategy for intramolecular hydrogen bonds (HBs) to redistribute the charge of OEMs to weaken the interaction with electrolyte components, thereby suppressing their dissolution. For the designed 2,2',2''-(2,4,6-trihydroxybenzene-1,3,5-triyl) tris (1H-naphtho[2,3-d]imidazole-4,9-dione) (TPNQ) molecule, the intramolecular HBs (O-H⋅⋅⋅N and N-H⋅⋅⋅O) reduce the charge density of active sites and alter the charge distribution on the molecular skeleton.

Proton transfer driven by the fluctuation of water molecules in chitin film.

Proton-transfer mechanisms and hydration states were investigated in chitin films possessing the functionality of fuel-cell electrolytes. The absolute hydration number per chitin molecule (N) as a function of relative humidity (RH) was determined from the OH stretching bands of H2O molecules, and the proton conductivity was found to enhance above N = 2 (80%RH). The FIR spectrum at 500-900 cm-1 for 20%RH (N < 1) together with first-principles calculations clearly shows that the w1 site has the same hydration strength as the w2 site.

Background: Breath-held electrocardiogram-gated cardiac cine imaging (ECG-CINE), as the gold standard for assessing cardiac function in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), is prone to motion artifacts. Conventional golden-angle (CGA) sampling has emerged as a promising technique for mitigating motion effects in real-time cardiac cine imaging. However, in ECG-CINE, the irregular re-binning of radial k-space profiles based on CGA can exacerbate k-space non-uniformity, resulting in severe streaking artifacts.
