The authors emphasize the various possibilities of exploration of chest with the mediastinoscope, in a 11 patients series, aiming and reducing surgical parietal approach in infancy, while preserving the feasibility of the procedure. In the thoracic level: beyond the mediastinal approach by the transcervical pathway (mediastinoscopy), the principal application is the pleural cavity access (pleuroscopy) which was performed in seven 3 to 12 years old children. Pleuroscopy was realised through a small intercostal access permitting biopsy with a good visibility (pulmonary biopsy: 4 cases; lateral mediastinal tumor: 2 cases). A cloisonned pyopneumothorax drainage was performed once easily managed. Mediastinoscopy was used likewise in 3 cases of transcervical thymectomy (myasthenia gravis or thymic hyperplasia), permitting effective visual field to control quality of exeresis. This "surgical endoscopy" procedure offers so food indications in Pediatric Surgery, more especially as not any complication was observed.

Background: Anterior glenoid bone defects significantly influence surgical outcomes in shoulder instability cases. Various measurement methods based on 3-dimensional computed tomography (3D-CT) have been developed. Recently, the simple linear formula method, which establishes a correlation between glenoid height and width, has emerged as a promising technique.

Low-grade endometrial stromal sarcoma (LG-ESS) can present diagnostic challenges, due to its overlapping morphological features with other uterine mesenchymal tumors. Misdiagnosis rates remain significant, and immunohistochemical data for LG-ESS are limited to small series and inconsistent antibody panels. This study aimed to refine the IHC profile of LG-ESS by analyzing a large, molecularly confirmed series of 147 cases using a panel of 24 antibodies, including newer markers like transgelin and smoothelin.

Purpose To evaluate the use of an automated hybrid multidimensional MRI (HM-MRI)-based tool to prospectively identify prostate cancer targets before MRI/US fusion biopsy in comparison with Prostate Imaging and Reporting Data System (PI-RADS)-based multiparametric MRI (mpMRI) evaluation by expert radiologists. Materials and Methods In this prospective clinical trial (ClinicalTrials.gov registration no.

Background: Current approach to clinically suspicious biopsy-naïve men consists performing prostate MRI, followed by combined systematic (TRUS-Bx) and MRI-Ultrasound fusion biopsy (MRI-TBx) in those with PIRADS score ≥ 3. Researchers have attempted to determine who benefits from each biopsy method, but the results do not support the safe use of one method alone. This study aims to determine the optimal approach in biopsy-naïve men, according to their PSA levels.
