Introduction: Intrusive memories occur frequently after potentially traumatic events and form a core symptom of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) if they persist. The translational approach of visuospatial interventions tries to target those intrusive memories in order to reduce their frequency predominantly using an intervention including as one component the computer game Despite promising results, the application of has critical drawbacks, e.g.

Gastric cancer (GC), one of the tumours with the highest mortality worldwide, is not a homogeneous disease, showing different features according to location, macroscopic aspect, histotype and molecular alterations. Adenocarcinoma is the most frequent epithelial GC (95%), the remaining 5% comprising rare epithelial tumours with their peculiarities, behaviour and incidence <6 cases/100,000/year. Due to the low number of cases, many aspects must be elucidated in this context.

Introduction Launched in 2018, by the Government of India, the Health and Wellness Centers (HWCs) initiative under the Ayushman Bharat program aims to transform India's primary healthcare system. This study evaluates the functioning of Health and Wellness Centres (HWCs) in random blocks of Patna, Bihar, focusing on service availability, infrastructure, manpower challenges, and overall effectiveness in meeting healthcare needs. Methodology The assessment aimed to understand the current state of functioning of 16 HWCs and identify areas for improvement through a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) analysis.

Ultrahigh-Power Carbon-Based Supercapacitors through Order-Disorder Balance.

Small

January 2025

Institute of Smart City and Intelligent Transportation, Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, 610031, China.

Although carbon-based supercapacitors (SCs) hold the advantages of high-power and large-current characteristics, they are difficult to realize ultrahigh-power density (> 200 kW kg) and maintain almost constant energy density at ultrahigh power. This limitation is mainly due to the difficulty in balancing the structural order related to the electrical conductivity of carbon materials and the structural disorder related to the pore structure. Herein, we design a novel super-structured tubular carbon (SSTC) with a crosslinked porous conductive network to solve the structure order-disorder tradeoff effect in carbon materials.

Comprehensive care of ulcerative colitis: new treatment strategies.

Expert Rev Gastroenterol Hepatol

January 2025

Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Concord Repatriation General Hospital, Sydney, Australia.

Introduction: Ulcerative colitis is a chronic inflammatory condition of the colon driven by aberrant immune activation. Although advanced medical therapies form the cornerstone of ulcerative colitis management, unmet needs include failure to induce and sustain remission in a substantial proportion of patients and in managing acute severe ulcerative colitis. We review new treatment strategies that might improve patient outcomes in the management of moderate-to-severe ulcerative colitis.
