Background: The importance of health literacy in personal health management is widely recognised in the general population, yet remains poorly understood in some patient groups, including people with spinal cord injury or disorder (SCI/D).
Objectives: The systematic review had two objectives: (1) to determine the health literacy levels of individuals with SCI/D, and (2) to identify facilitators and barriers to developing health literacy in this group.
Methods: Seven databases (CINAHL, Embase, Emcare, ProQuest, PsycINFO, PubMed, and Web of Science) were searched from inception, with an updated search completed on January 21, 2025.

Introduction: Despite the crucial importance of effective AFS in resource-limited settings, such settings remain comparatively underserved and underrepresented in terms of resource-setting-specific guidance and research. Further practical contextualization and application of current AFS best practices is thus necessary.
Areas Covered: A panel of leading experts from diverse countries (India, Nigeria, Spain, and the US) was brought together to provide recommendations for practical and effective implementation of AFS in resource-limited settings.

Electron beams evolved as important tools for modern technologies that construct and analyze nanoscale architectures. While electron-matter interactions at atomic and macro scales are well-studied, a knowledge gap persists at the molecular to nano level─the scale most relevant to the latest technologies. Here, we employ liquid-phase transmission electron microscopy supported by density functional theory calculations and a mathematical random search algorithm to rationalize and quantify electron beam-induced processes at the molecular level.

Background: There is growing evidence that the occurrence and severity of respiratory diseases in children are related to the concentration of air pollutants. Nonetheless, evidence regarding the association between short-term exposure to air pollution and outpatient visits for respiratory diseases in children remains limited. Outpatients cover a wide range of disease severity, including both severe and mild cases, some of which may need to be transferred to inpatient treatment.
