Background: To explore the risk factors for hypoglycemia in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) after intensive insulin therapy and the blood glucose monitoring strategy.
Methods: A total of 172 T2DM patients diagnosed from March 2019 to March 2021 were randomly divided into training (n=115) and test sets (n=57), and given intensive insulin therapy. After treatment, the training set was divided into hypoglycemia (n=35) and non-hypoglycemia groups (n=80).

Objective: To explore the clinical outcomes and establish a predictive model of hypoglycemia during colonoscopy preparation for diabetic patients.
Methods: Three-hundred ninety-four patients with diabetes who received colonoscopy were retrospectively enrolled in this study and assigned to hypoglycemia or non-hypoglycemia groups. Information about clinical characteristics and outcomes during colonoscopy preparation was collected and compared between the two groups.

Background: Studies have shown that hyperglycemia in cirrhotic patients increases mortality. However, no population-based study has evaluated the influence of hypoglycemia upon hospital admission on death in these patients. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of hypoglycemia at admission on the mortality of patients with liver cirrhosis.

Aims: There are as yet no cohort studies of hypoglycemia in type 1 diabetes before starting insulin therapy. Our aim was to determine the frequency and clinical features of hypoglycemia in patients with type 1A diabetes prior to commencing insulin therapy.
Methods: Eighty-seven patients with type 1A diabetes were enrolled, and a retrospective chart review of the patients was conducted.
