About six of sigmoid volvulus m children, the authors underline the rarity of this etiology in large bowel obstruction. Two cases happened during neonate and four cases are associated with other pathologic diseases (2 neurologic ans 2 Hirschsprung diseases). Diagnosis is based on baryum enema and the best surgical management in emergency is resection and derivation with secondary anastomosis.

Introduction: Raga County is an onchocerciasis-endemic area in the Western Bahr El Ghazal state of South Sudan, known to have a high prevalence of blindness. The objective of this study was to determine the causes of eye disease and blindness in Raga County as well as to assess the relationship of eye diseases with other prevalent conditions like onchocerciasis and epilepsy.
Methods: We reviewed unpublished pre-community directed treatment with ivermectin (CDTI) data about eye disease and onchocerciasis in Western Bahr El Ghazal including Raga.

Background: Kaposiform hemangioendothelioma is a rare vascular tumor primarily occurring in infants and children. The most common sites for kaposiform hemangioendothelioma are extremities, with very few cases of abdominal kaposiform hemangioendothelioma reported in neonates. Making a diagnosis of Kaposiform hemangioendothelioma can be challenging when the patient presents with generalized symptoms such as bilious vomiting and constipation that can be attributed to other more common causes of intestinal obstruction.
