Over the past sixty years, telemetry monitoring has become integral to hospital care, offering critical insights into patient health by tracking key indicators like heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation. Its primary application, continuous electrocardiographic (ECG) monitoring, is essential in diverse settings such as emergency departments, step-down units, general wards, and intensive care units for the early detection of cardiac rhythms signaling acute clinical deterioration. Recent advancements in data analytics and machine learning have expanded telemetry's role from observation to prognostication, enabling predictive models that forecast inhospital events indicative of patient instability.

There is a gap in understanding the different contributions of biodegradation and free radical oxidation using calcium peroxide (CaO) for the remediation of mixed contaminants of benzene and chlorobenzene in groundwater. In this study, the remedial efficiency and mechanisms of benzene and chlorobenzene co-contaminants using CaO were explored by an integrated approach of field study and laboratory validation. It was found that in the field demonstration program, the radius of influence for each injection point using Geoprobe direct-push was larger than the designed value of 0.

Monitoring the seasonal and diurnal variations in headwater stream metabolic regimes can provide critical information for understanding how ecosystems will respond to future environmental changes. In East Fork Creek, a headwater stream in middle Tennessee, week-long field campaigns were set up each month from May 2022 to May 2023 to collect stream metabolism estimators. In a more extensive field campaign from July 2-5 in 2022, diel signals were observed for temperature, pH, turbidity, and concentrations of Ca, Mg, K, Se, Fe, Ba, chloride, nitrate, DIC, DO, DOC, and total algae.

Cellular senescence plays a significant role in tissue aging. Senescent cells, which resist apoptosis while remaining metabolically active, generate endogenous DNA-damaging agents, primarily reactive oxygen species. Efficient DNA repair is therefore crucial in these cells, especially when they undergo senescence escape, resuming DNA replication and cellular proliferation.

Monitoring mortality is an essential strategy for fish health management. Commercial marine finfish sites in British Columbia, Canada, are required to report mortality events (MEs) to Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), which makes these data publicly available. This study aimed to analyze the spatial and temporal patterns of ME composition and total MEs.
