The experimental studies by means of the electrical impedance plethysmography and electromagnetic flowmetry revealed stable decreasing of vascular tension after one-sided spinal deafferentation on level L4-S2 and increasing sensitivity to norepinephrine of the limb on the side of surgical intervention. The two phenomena are most clearly observed in 30-40 days after the operation. The data suggest that afferent innervation on segmental levels has an important influence on functional condition of the sympathetic neurons of the spinal cord.
