Background: Liver injury manifesting as hepatic enzyme abnormalities, has been occasionally identified to be a feature of primary or secondary Addison's disease, an uncommon endocrine disease characterized by adrenal insufficiency. There have been no more than 30 reported cases of liver injury explicitly attributed to Addison's disease. Liver injury resulting from adrenal insufficiency due to glucocorticoid withdrawal is exceptionally rarer.

Methods: The study included patients who were admitted to Akdeniz University with the diagnosis of COVID-19. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Checklist - Civilian Version (PCL-5), and Beck Anxiety and Depression Inventories were administered to the patients at least 30 days after discharge.

Case reports of Strongyloides stercoralis infection in three patients with haematological malignancies.

Strongyloidiasis is a parasitic nematode infection mainly caused by Strongyloides stercoralis. Immunocompromised conditions, particularly cancer patients treated with chemotherapy and corticosteroids, have a significant risk of developing Strongyloides hyperinfection. The lack of a gold standard laboratory method to rule out this infection and the insensitivity of microscopic stool examination due to low and intermittent larvae output in stool contribute to the low detection rate of this infection.
