Optimal conditions are developed for two methods of simultaneous recording of 45Ca and 32P-radiation in the bone and other tissues. Both methods are compared from the standpoint of their efficiency. The calculation method for the 32P hard beta-radiation in the presence of 45Ca in one tissue specimen by the liquid scintillation counter is 5-10 times as efficient as that by the gas-discharge counter with the filter. The method for recording the low-energy 45Ca beta-radiation in the combination with 32P in one tissue specimen by the end-window gas-discharge counter and filter is more efficient to some extent that the calculation in the liquid scintillation counter.

Negatively charged ions from the alpha particle tracks are detected by the discharge wire counter opened to the air. Ion clusters are transferred from the particle tracks to the detector volume by an air flux. It allows a remote detection of very low concentrations of alpha particles.

We present a combined experimental setup for spin- and angle-resolved direct and inverse photoemission in the vacuum ultraviolet energy range for measurements of the electronic structure below and above the Fermi level. Both techniques are installed in one ultrahigh-vacuum chamber and, as a consequence, allow quasisimultaneous measurements on one and the same sample preparation. The photoemission experiment consists of a gas discharge lamp and an electron energy analyzer equipped with a spin polarization detector based on spin-polarized low-energy electron diffraction.

Effective potential of a charged dusty particle moving in homogeneous plasma has a negative part that provides attraction between similarly charged dusty particles. A depth of this potential well is great enough to ensure both stability of crystal structure of dusty plasma and sizable value of surface tension of a boundary surface of dusty region. The latter depends on the orientation of the surface relative to the ion flow, namely, it is maximal and positive for the surface normal to the flow and minimal and negative for the surface along the flow.
