Dendritic cells (DCs) play a pivotal role in activating naïve T-cells and bridging innate and adaptive immunity. This study aimed to identify and characterize CD83 and CD276 as potential markers for DCs in olive flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus). Specific antibodies against these markers were developed and used to analyze their distribution in peripheral blood leukocytes (PBLs) and intestinal tissues.

Zearalenone (ZEN) is a widely distributed mycotoxin with potent estrogenic activity. Detecting ZEN is crucial for assessing its potential health risks. This study developed a highly sensitive non-competitive magnetic phage anti-immunocomplex immunoassay (Nc-MPHAIA) for ZEN detection, utilizing the anti-ZEN single-chain variable fragment (ScFv) and anti-immunocomplex peptide (AIcP), both of which were screened using phage display technology.

Claudins (CLDNs) play a crucial and indispensable role as fundamental components within the structure of tight junctions. Due to the distinct and unique distribution pattern exhibited by CLDNs in both normal and malignant tissues, these proteins have garnered significant attention as pivotal targets for systemic anti-cancer therapy and as noteworthy diagnostic markers. This review provides a comprehensive and detailed elucidation of the fundamental understanding surrounding CLDNs, their intricate expression patterns, the potential role they play in cancer diagnosis and therapeutic potentials; all encapsulated within a succinct summary of the cutting-edge advancements and the information derived from various clinical trials.

Background: Approval of proteasome inhibitors, immunomodulatory drugs, and anti-CD38 monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), such as daratumumab, has reshaped treatment patterns in patients with multiple myeloma (MM) in Japan. This retrospective study evaluated patient characteristics, treatment patterns, and trends in MM patients using Medical Data Vision, the largest electronic health records database in Japan with anonymous inpatient and outpatient health information.
Methods: Patients aged ≥18 years, with ≥2 records of an MM diagnostic and disease code and ≥1 record of MM treatment between 01 April 2008 and 30 June 2023 were included.

Background: Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a major cause of severe health problems in newborns and young children. The protective role and limitations of serum maternal RSV antibodies in infants under 3 months remain controversial.
Methods: A two-center prospective study from 2020 to 2023 recruited infants (n=286) admitted to the respiratory departments of two children's hospitals in southwestern and southeastern China during RSV epidemic.
