Low-protein (LPRO) diets can effectively reduce feed costs and decrease environmental pollution, making them an important pathway to enhance the sustainability of livestock production. However, they may have adverse effects on the growth performance of broiler chickens, which has limited their widespread application. This study aims to explore the impact of adding protease (PRO) to LPRO diets on the growth performance of broiler chickens, especially under conditions with or without the presence of (BC), in order to provide theoretical support for the scientific application and promotion of LPRO feeds.

Due to its lack of the L-gulonolactone oxidase () enzyme, Nile tilapia is unable to synthesize vitamin C; thus, it requires an adequate level of exogenous vitamin C in its diet. To enhance antioxidant properties and vitamin C-related effects, we employed recombinant technology to integrate the -encoding gene into the chromosome. In this study, fish were divided into four groups: those fed with a basal diet (CON), a basal diet + vitamin C (VC), a basal diet + wild-type (BS), and a basal diet + recombinant (BS+GULO).

Evaluating penicillin allergy labels and expanding access to preferred treatment options safely is of critical public health importance. Most patients with penicillin allergy labels are not allergic, and even in those with verified allergy, sensitization wanes over time. However, sensitization is complex and while a patient may have a negative penicillin allergy evaluation (including a drug challenge), resensitization can occur, raising a risk of a subsequent reaction upon exposure.
