Introduction: Odontogenic fibroma (OF), a rare odontogenic tumor of mesodermal origin, has been thought to originate from either dental follicle, periodontal ligament, or dental papilla [1]. Different studies reported high variability in the incidence rate as being between 3 and 23% of all odontogenic tumors [2,3]. OF manifests a dual character at the histopathological examination showing odontogenic epithelial structures mimicking those observed in biopsy of ameloblastoma and, in addition, peculiar fragments of cellular stroma.

Background: Dentigerous cyst is the second most common type of odontogenic cysts that encloses the crown of an unerupted tooth by expansion of its follicle due to the collection of cystic fluid. In view of the capability of these lesions attaining a marked size if not diagnosed early and treated properly, the present study was done based on the clinical and radiographic presentation of the dentigerous cyst in addition to the analysis of the cystic contents.
Objective: The present study reported 14 cases of dentigerous cysts (DC) with their incidence and relative distribution of the maxillofacial region along with the clinical and radiographic features and biochemical analysis of cystic fluid.
This article presents the case of an 8-year-old patient who presented with a large radiolucency associated with the maxillary left canine and a supernumerary tooth. A computed tomography scan showed the radiolucency was in close proximity to the roots of the anterior teeth, with no areas of root resorption, and expansion into the left maxillary sinus. The boundaries of the maxillary sinus floor were still preserved.

Cyst is a pathological cavity which is surrounded by capsule and filled with matter of different compactness and composition. Cysts may originate in bones and in soft tissues. We are describing the case of the follicular cyst of the mandibula diagnosed for a 55 years old female patient.
