Acute lung injury (ALI) has high morbidity and mortality. Lifei Qingchang Tang (LFQCT), a traditional Chinese medicine, has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties but its mechanism in ALI remains unclear. , LFQCT reduced intracellular Ca, ROS, and NO in LPS-induced RAW 264.

Preclinical studies have shown that the blood from female mice exposed weekly to magnetic fields inhibited breast cancer growth. This double-blind randomized controlled trial investigated whether analogous magnetic therapy could produce similar anticancer sera from human subjects. Twenty-six healthy adult females (ages 30-45) were assigned to either a magnetic therapy group, receiving twice weekly 1 mT magnetic exposures (10 min/session) for 4 weeks, or a control group, who underwent identical sham exposure.

Curcumin (Cur) has gained considerable recognition because of its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects as a bioactive compound, but its water insolubility and low bioaccessibility limit its application in food industry. In this study, Pickering emulsion stabilized by Spanish mackerel protein and pectin complex (SMP/PEC) was prepared to deliver curcumin, and its alleviating effects on DSS-induced ulcerative colitis (UC) were investigated. The emulsions stabilized by SMP/PEC 1:1 inhibited phase separation, had good rheological properties and the emulsions were stable at high temperatures, centrifugation, salt ions, and pH conditions.

This study explores the enhancement of properties in zirconia-based ceramic dental restorative materials through the incorporation of baghdadite (CaZrSiO) and zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles. Baghdadite was synthesized via a solid-state sintering method and integrated into zirconia to form baghdadite/zirconia ceramic composites. These composites were sintered with varying concentrations of baghdadite (0%, 5%, and 10%) to enhance bioactivity and support bone tissue repair, and incorporated with 0.

Avian infectious bronchitis (IB) is one of the major respiratory diseases in poultry. At present, attenuated vaccines are the main commercial vaccines, but they have many defects. We aimed to construct a novel multi-epitope DNA vaccine based on avian infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) S1 and N proteins for the prevention of IBV infection.
