Following up on previous findings from the All Our Families (AOF) cohort, the current study investigated the relationship between birthing parent history of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and child atopy, including asthma, allergy, and eczema, at five years of age. A case of tracheobronchial adenoid cystic carcinoma diagnosed around the time of conception and its progression during pregnancy is presented. The evidence that pregnancy may be associated with the progression of adenoid cystic cancer is discussed. It is important to consider tracheal disease before making a diagnosis of adult-onset asthma.

Introduction: Despite the increasing evidence supporting the use of biologics for treating severe asthma, there is a lack of evidence regarding their use in pregnant women. This study aims to evaluate the safety of biologics for pregnant women, utilizing global pharmacovigilance database.

Methods: Reports documented between 1980 and 2023 were extracted from the VigiBase that mentioned pregnancy- or fetus-related reactions with drugs indicated for asthma, including reslizumab, omalizumab, mepolizumab, dupilumab, benralizumab, and other non-biologics.
