Objectives: Media exposure to extreme police violence is an increasingly widespread problem that has negative consequences for the mental health of viewers. Black Americans are disproportionately impacted by police violence and its negative consequences, but little is understood from their own perspectives as media viewers.
Method: The present study uses a hermeneutic phenomenological approach to better understand Black American experiences of witnessing lethal police violence toward Black Americans via social media.

The objective of our work was to study the impact of a mobile health unit of geriatric psychiatry (EMGP) on the number of consultations to the emergency medical service and on the rate of readmissions. This was an observational, retrospective, single-center cohort study, which aimed to identify the number of visits to the Troyes SAU for psychiatric reasons. This in patients who have previously benefited from hospitalization in the Aube geriatric-psychiatry department called Ellipses.

Serotonin syndrome (SS) is a potentially life-threatening condition that can result from excessive serotonergic activity, often due to SSRIs, formally known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. The syndrome and its effects are often secondary to drug-drug interactions or dose-related. This case highlights a 47-year-old female who presents with a history of major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and severe alcohol use disorder.

Background: Understanding resilience factors in children is essential for developing early mental health interventions. Middle childhood is an understudied developmental stage, with many quantitative measures lacking validation for this age group and not capturing diverse experiences. This study aimed to use body mapping, an arts-based method, as a novel approach to understand 7-10-year-old children's concepts of resilience (including definitions and factors that contribute to resilience) in East London.

Patients with severe alcoholic hepatitis SAH may suffer of undiagnosed psychiatric illnesses, typically depression. Assessment of prevalence and potential impact of psychiatric disturbances on alcohol relapse after LT, were the main objectives of this study. One hundred consecutive patients with SAH from April 2016 to May 2023 were analyzed.
