Owing to massive production and poor end-of-life management, plastic waste pollution has become one of the most pressing environmental crises. In response to the mounting crisis, the past several decades have witnessed the development of numerous methods and technologies for plastic recycling. However, most of the current recycling technologies often produce low-quality or low-value products, making it difficult to recover the operating costs.

Introduction: Airway management is often a life-saving procedure for patients. However, during airway management, difficult ventilation and difficult intubation are not always predictable. Preoxygenation, a crucial technique to improve oxygen reserves, plays a vital role in preventing hypoxemia during anesthesia induction.

Background: Preoxygenation is intended to extend the duration of apnea until desaturation occurs. End-tidal oxygen (ETO) is the standard for measuring preoxygenation, however, peripheral capillary oxygen saturation (SpO) is used more commonly within the emergency department.
Objective: The primary aim was to determine whether patients were optimally preoxygenated as measured by ETO vs.

Purpose: Compared to conventional photodynamic therapy (PDT), oxygen-affording PDT represents a promising strategy for treating multidrug-resistant (MDR) gram-negative bacterial infections due to its enhanced sensitization ability towards bacteria and amplified therapeutic efficacy. Over the last decade, various nanoplatforms for the co-delivery of oxygen and photosensitizers have been developed. However, their application in the treatment of infectious diseases is hampered by their poor stability and easy clearance by the reticuloendothelial system (RES).
