The therapy employed hemosorption (HS), blood exposure to magnetic field and ultraviolet (UV) blood irradiation. Immunocorrection was the most effective in the combination of HS with UL blood irradiation.

Dynamic stand trials showed a high sorptive capacity of carbon which appeared to depend on the rate and duration of perfusion. A 40 min passage through a carbon column at the perfusion rate of 100 ml/min was followed by a 584-fold decrease of the drug concentration.
