Objective: To compare the clinical outcomes between radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and microwave ablation (MWA) for the treatment of T1N0M0 papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) in a large cohort.

Materials And Methods: This retrospective study included 1111 patients with solitary T1N0M0 PTC treated with RFA (n = 894) or MWA (n = 215) by experienced physicians. A propensity score matching was used to compare disease progression, including lymph node metastases (LNM), recurrent tumors and persistent tumors, recurrence-free survival (RFS), volume reduction ratio (VRR), and complications between the RFA and MWA groups.

Background Detection and segmentation of lung tumors on CT scans are critical for monitoring cancer progression, evaluating treatment responses, and planning radiation therapy; however, manual delineation is labor-intensive and subject to physician variability. Purpose To develop and evaluate an ensemble deep learning model for automating identification and segmentation of lung tumors on CT scans. Materials and Methods A retrospective study was conducted between July 2019 and November 2024 using a large dataset of CT simulation scans and clinical lung tumor segmentations from radiotherapy plans.

Objectives: Migraine is a common cause of headache and a leading cause of morbidity in Türkiye. This study aimed to describe the clinical characteristics and management of migraine and to compare migraine with tension-type headache (TTH) regarding the burden of disease and healthcare resource utilization.

Methods: A total of 1368 patients (aged 18-65 years) with migraine or TTH were surveyed regarding sociodemographics, headache characteristics, clinical management, disease burden, quality of life, and healthcare resource utilization within the previous 12 months.

Intellectual property laws were not originally designed to address digital classrooms and shared online learning environments, but these concerns are now relevant to many educational institutions. The recent expansion of technology utilization in health professions education presents educators with the challenges to accurately interpret copyright law and implement best practices under the tenets of fair use. Discerning legal and ethical parameters relevant to copyright law will encourage the implementation of best practices in disseminating information and creating appropriate learning activities in the age of digital education.
