Scanning of 31 cirrhosis and 25 cancer-cirrhosis patients has been carried out using 198Au and then 67Ga. In 23/25 cancer-cirrhotic patients 67Ga was picked up in areas cold to 198Au (8% false negatives); such behaviour was not observed in any of the 31 cirrhotics (no false positive).

Objective: To describe a case of pyonephrosis in a child with special reference to the importance of scintigraphy in its evaluation.
Methods: We studied the correlation of the findings of conventional radiology (abdominal x-ray), ultrasound, abdominal CT, scintigraphy and anatomopathology (left kidney) in a 5-year-old boy with a history of renal lithiasis that was seen at our pediatric emergency services. An 82 year-old woman presented with bilateral uveitis suggestive of ocular sarcoidosis, which led to a clouded vision. She was diagnosed as having sarcoidosis because of an elevated level of serum angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE), findings from a Ga67 scintiscan and the bilateral uveitis, although her chest X-ray film was normal. This patient is one of the most oldest patients on record to have sarcoidosis.

Dalton's lymphoma (solid tumor) was induced in Swiss mice by an 'Air-pouch' technique using ascites cells. A liposomal technique for radioimmunodetection and localization using Ga-67 and antibody has been developed.
