Two large groups of patients, i.e. 1893 patients treated at the Institute for carcinoma cervicis uteri and 1184 patients with Ca corporis uteri were selected and evaluated for a follow-up study and statistical processing of tumor duplicity of gynecological origin. Double tumor in the group with Ca cervicis uteri was found in 88 women, i.e. 4.6%, and in that treated for Ca corporis uteri in 85, i.e. 7.2% of the patients. The most frequent combination in the two groups of carcinoma is breast cancer amounting to 28.4% in Ca cervicis uteri and to 35.3% in Ca corporis uteri. The second most frequent primary carcinoma in Ca cervicis uteri is dermal carcinoma--23.9%, and in Ca corporis uteri that of the digestive tract--21.1%. A statistical follow-up over 40 years indicates a rise in tumor duplicity in both groups of gynecological carcinoma--cervical and endometrial, with the number in the former having increased more than twofold.

Postoperative pain is common following spine surgery, particularly complex procedures. The main anesthetic efforts are focused on applying multimodal analgesia beforehand, and regional anesthesia is a critical component of it. The purpose of this study is to examine the existing techniques for regional anesthesia in cervical spine surgery and to determine their effect and safety on pain reduction and postoperative patient's recovery.

Objective: We aim to present a case of a 43-year-old patient dia-gnosed with cervical adenocarcinoma in the 15th week of pregnancy, who underwent robotically-assisted staging in a laparoscopic pelvic lymphadenectomy. Further therapeutic approach was based on the results of subsequent lymph node histopathologic assessment.
Conclusion: In pregnant women with cervical cancer, robot-assisted laparoscopic lymphadenectomy is a method of choice for surgical staging.

Introduction: One of the transitional zones of the human body is situated in the cervix uteri. The developmental differentiation of epithelial and stromal characteristics in such a region is of high clinical interest. However, few studies have focused on the development of this region, and information in anatomical and clinical textbooks is limited.

Minimal deviation adenocarcinoma (MDA) of the uterine cervix, otherwise known as adenoma malignum, is a rare variant of cervical adenocarcinoma, which represents a diagnostic challenge in the field of gynecologic oncology, due to its benign-resembling histological characteristics. To achieve a better understanding of this disease, we present two cases of MDA: one case presented with profuse watery discharge and cervical enlargement, accompanied by retention cysts and hardening; the other presented with a history of myoma cervicis uteri. Both patients underwent total abdominal hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy and pelvic lymphadenectomy and our follow-up indicated that the patients were still free of any disease.

Congenital defects like myofibrillar dysplasia (splayleg), umbilical and inguinal hernias, cryptorchism, intersexes, and anal atresia occur relatively frequently in swine. On the other hand, some developmental anomalies like double monsters are very rare. The present paper reports a rare case of a congenital complex malformation including polymelia, duplicitas coli partialis et recti, atresia ani et fistula rectogenitalis, duplicitas corpori uteri, cervicis, vaginae et vulvae and duplicitas vesicae, urethrae et renalis.
