7Sgamma2b antibody was detected, by fluorescein labeled antibodies, on the body surfaces and wall of excretory bladder of tetrathyridia of M. corti removed from the peritoneums of 5--24-week laboratory infections of ICR/TIMCO mice. 7Sgamma1, 7Sgamma2a, 7Sgamma3, IgM, IgA, and C3 were not found by use of the same techniques. Tetrathyridia maintained in culture medium to which pooled normal mouse, infected mouse, and horse (control) serums containing all known classes and subclasses of immunoglobulins had been added showed only mouse 7Sgamma2b on their surfaces and wall of the excretory bladder, and then only when incubated in pooled serum from infected mice. No other mouse immunoglobulin classes or subclasses were found attached to the worms, nor was any reaction obtained from tetrathyridia incubated in culture medium alone, normal mouse serum, or horse serum. This suggests a highly selective nonspecific absorption of 7Sgamma2b, or more likely demonstrates the specificity of the antibody for the parasite surfaces and wall of the excretory bladder. The possibility that 7Sgamma2b may be acting in an enhanceing mode is discussed.

Objective: This study aims to analyze anatomical parameters of the transmission route of sigmoid sinus tinnitus (SST) to explore its mechanism and speculate on possible responsible anatomical abnormalities.
Methods: Clinical data were retrospectively collected from SST and sigmoid sinus wall dehiscence (SSWD) patients suggested by temporal bone high resolution computed tomography (HRCT), with and without tinnitus, at the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from January 2015 to August 2022. Patients were divided into SSWD tinnitus ( = 61), and non-tinnitus ( = 60) groups based on HRCT features.

Gastric Linitis plastica is characterized by extensive infiltration of gastric wall by poorly differentiated tumor cells, creating a "leather-bottle stomach" appearance. We describe a case involving a 71-year-old male presenting with globus sensation, early satiety and weight loss. Recent EGD had revealed chronic gastritis with polypoid mucosa at the GE junction, and subsequent FDG-PET indicated asymmetric FDG localization.

When nematic liquid crystal elastomers (LCEs) crosslinked at their isotropic phase are quenched to the nematic phase, they show polydomain patterns, in which nematic microdomains with different orientations self-organize into a three-dimensional mosaic with characteristic correlation patterns. The orientational correlation length of the domain, which is usually in the micrometer range, is believed to emerge as a result of a competition between liquid crystalline ordering and frozen network inhomogeneity. Although polydomain patterns show potentials as the basic platform for optical, memory, and mechanical devices, no study exists regarding how they are modulated by experimentally accessible parameters.

Previously, it was found that four types of glandular trichomes (GTs) are developed on the surface of all aerial organs in Doronicum species.
