: Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) in late preterm and term neonates accounts for neonatal mortality and unfavorable neurodevelopmental outcomes in survivors despite therapeutic hypothermia (TH) for neuroprotection. The circumstances of death in neonates with HIE, including involvement of neonatal palliative care (NPC) specialists and neurodevelopmental follow-up at 18-24 months in survivors, warrant further evaluation. : A retrospective multicenter cohort study including neonates ≥ 35 weeks gestational age with moderate to severe HIE receiving TH, registered in the Swiss National Asphyxia and Cooling Register between 2011 and 2021.

: Hydrogen gas (H) has been shown to be effective in the treatment of various clinical conditions, from acute illnesses to chronic illnesses. However, its clinical indications and the corresponding appropriate hydrogen delivery methods have yet to be determined. Citrus peel essential oils (CPEOs) have demonstrated substantial medicinal potential for glioblastoma treatment because of their extensive antitumor effects, low potential for drug resistance, and ability to cross the human blood-brain barrier. In this study, the chemical compositions of five CPEOs were analyzed via gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). CCK8 assays were used to evaluate the ability of five CPEOs to inhibit U251 human glioblastoma cells, and XLB and RA were selected for further investigation.
