The use of nitrogen-fixing bacteria in agriculture is increasingly recognized as a sustainable method to boost crop yields, reduce chemical fertilizer use, and improve soil health. However, the microbial mechanisms by which inoculation with nitrogen-fixing bacteria enhance rice production remain unclear. In this study, rice seedlings were inoculated with the nitrogen-fixing bacterium R3 (Herbaspirillum) at the rhizosphere during the seedling stage in a pot experiment using paddy soil.

Bone morphogenetic protein 2 (BMP-2) and a polysaccharide (SUP) were embedded in the calcium phosphate cement (CPC) scaffold, and the bone repair ability was evaluated. The new scaffolds were characterized using x-ray diffraction, Fourier transform-infrared, scanning electron microscopy, and energy dispersive spectroscopy analyses. We carried out the health situation analysis in the Legal Amazon through morbidity and mortality indicators and the comparison between intra and inter-state federation of the region and Brazil. Analysis of the health situation, trends, and identification of clusters in the Brazilian Amazon, for the period from 2010 to 2021, using secondary data available in official health information systems. Circulatory diseases were the main cause of death, representing 23% of deaths.
