Objective: Using F-FDG PET/CT metabolic parameters to differentiate post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder (PTLD) and reactive lymphoid hyperplasia (RLH), and PTLD subtypes.
Methods: F-FDG PET/CT and clinical data from 63 PTLD cases and 19 RLH cases were retrospectively collected. According to the 2017 WHO classification, PTLD was categorized into four subtypes: nondestructive (ND-PTLD), polymorphic (P-PTLD), monomorphic (M-PTLD), and classic Hodgkin.

Interleukin-10 (IL-10) is an immunomodulatory molecule that may play an immunosuppressive role in nonmelanoma skin cancer (NMSC), specifically basal cell carcinoma (BCC). We analyzed the role of IL10 promoter variants in genetic determinants of BCC susceptibility and their association with IL10 mRNA and IL-10 serum levels. Three promoter variants (- 1082 A > G, - 819 T > C, and - 592 A > C) were examined in 250 BCC patients and 250 reference group (RG) individuals.

Despite the study of BCR::ABL1-positive and -negative myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) providing seminal insights into cancer biology, tumor evolution and precision oncology over the past half century, significant challenges remain. MPNs are clonal hematopoietic stem cell-derived neoplasms with heterogenous clinical phenotypes and a clonal architecture which impacts the often-complex underlying genetics and microenvironment. The major driving molecular abnormalities have been well characterized, but debate on their role as disease-initiating molecular lesions continues.

Background: Magnetic resonance-guided focused ultrasound (MRgFUS) thalamotomy of ventral intermediate (Vim) nucleus is useful to treat drug-resistant tremor-dominant Parkinson's disease (TdPD), but tremor relapse may occur. Predictors of relapse have been poorly investigated so far.
Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the role of clinico-demographic, procedural, and neuroradiological variables in determining clinical response, relapse, and adverse events (AEs) in TdPD after MRgFUS Vim-thalamotomy.

Objectives: To explore the role of berberine (BBR) in ameliorating coronary endothelial cell injury in Kawasaki disease (KD) by regulating the complement and coagulation cascade.
Methods: Human coronary artery endothelial cells (HCAEC) were divided into a healthy control group, a KD group, and a BBR treatment group (=3 for each group). The healthy control group and KD group were supplemented with 15% serum from healthy children and KD patients, respectively, while the BBR treatment group received 15% serum from KD patients followed by the addition of 20 mmol/L BBR.
