Vanadium is a well recognized industrial hazard known to adversely affect male reproductive functions. The intricate mechanistic aspects of this metal and the role of oxidative stress in the deterioration of testicular functions are investigated in the current study. The experiment also focused on the effects of testosterone propionate in testicular and sperm functions in the rat intoxicated with vanadate.

Subsequent steady state efflux parameters were assessed by nonlinear least-squares curve-fitting to a two-compartment model. The resultant mean rate constants were 0.

Forskolin exhibited a synergistic action with LH, FSH and Gpp(NH)p but not with NaF. Addition of Ca2+ was inhibitory over a concentration range from 10(-5) to 10(-2) M whereas EGTA enhanced the response at 5.
