Cutaneous mastocytosis (CM) is the most common type of mastocytosis in children. The atopy frequency in these patients is typically similar to that in the general population, but a higher incidence of anaphylaxis is reported. Glioblastoma (GBM), an extremely aggressive and prevalent malignant brain tumor, remains a challenge to treat. Despite a multimodality treatment approach, GBM recurrence remains inevitable, particularly with the emergence of temozolomide (TMZ) resistance and limited treatment options. Surprisingly, previous studies show that a history of allergies, atopy, or asthma is inversely associated with GBM risk.

Angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia (ALHE) is a rare, benign, reactive vaso-proliferative condition in the dermal and subcutaneous tissues of the head and neck. A 28-year-old female presented with slow-growing painless swelling behind her left ear. FNAC revealed benign soft tissue neoplasm and histopathological examination after surgical excision revealed angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia.
