Background: Years of research have well demonstrated the pivotal role the attached gingiva plays in maintaining of periodontal health.
Objective: This study aimed to compare the efficacy of two technics, amniotic allograft and free gingival graft (FGG), in improving the attached gingiva width (AGW) around the teeth.
Methods: In this randomized controlled clinical trial study, 28 patients all in need of increased AGW were randomly halved and assigned to a test group receiving the amniotic allograft and a control group treated by a palatal FGG.

Objective: This systematic review (SR) aimed at assessing the adjunctive clinical effect of ozone therapy (OT) on nonsurgical periodontal treatment.
Materials And Methods: Articles published prior to September 2019 were electronically searched in four databases without any other date or language restrictions and manually searched in regular journals and in gray literature. This review was performed according to the PICO format.

Periodontitis is a chronic multifactorial inflammatory disease, which involves a dysbiotic microbiota, and leads to a progressive destruction of the tooth-supporting apparatus.

Background: Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) is an inflammatory mediator whose levels are increased in the gingival crevicular fluid and blood serum in the case of chronic periodontitis.
Objectives: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of vector ultrasonic system (VUS) on the levels of TNF-α in gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) and the clinical parameters in patients with chronic periodontitis.
Material And Methods: The study protocol was conducted using split-mouth design in 30 patients with chronic periodontitis.
