Transplantation of decellularized uterus tissue showed promise in supporting regeneration following uterine injury in animal models, suggesting an alternative to complete uterus transplantation for uterine factor infertility treatment. However, most animal studies utilized small grafts, limiting their clinical relevance. Hence, we used larger grafts (20 × 10 mm), equivalent to nearly one uterine horn in rats, to better evaluate the bioengineering challenges associated with structural support, revascularization, and tissue regeneration.

Purpose: To investigate the combined effects of super-active platelet lysate (sPL) and acellular amniotic membrane (AAM) in promoting endometrial repair and enhancing endometrial receptivity in rats.
Methods: The characteristics of sPL-AAM were examined through scanning electron microscopy, contact angle tester, and release experiments. We aimed to establish a rat model for endometrial injury.

Introduction: Extracellular vesicles of Natural Killer cells (NKEV) exert an antitumor effect towards hematopoietic and solid tumors and have an immune modulating effect, suggesting a promising role in immune and biotherapy. In this study, a continuation of our former works, we demonstrated a network by mass spectrometry analysis between NKEV protein cargo and antitumor effects. Human healthy NKEV, both exosomes and microvesicles, have a significant and direct cytotoxic effect against human B cell lymphoma in and conditions.

Ex vivo lung perfusion is an alternative to static cold storage for lung preservation in clinical lung transplantation. This study aimed to compare ex vivo lung perfusion with an acellular solution versus static cold storage and to assess the role of albumin as an additive to the acellular perfusion solution. Rat heart-lung blocks from Sprague-Dawley rats, after 1 hour of warm ischemia, were immersed in a low-potassium dextran solution for another hour.

In the present study, acellular cartilage matrix (ACM) was modified with poly-l-lysine/hyaluronic acid (PLL/HA) multilayers via detergent-enzyme chemical digestion and layer-by-layer self-assembly technology. This modified ACM was then loaded with Transforming Growth Factor Beta 3 (TGF-β3) and incorporated into a thermosensitive hydrogel (TH) to create a HA/PLL-ACM/TH composite scaffold with sustained-release function. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of this novel composite scaffold in promoting chondrogenic differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) and facilitating osteochondral defect repair.
