[Analysis of complications and lethal outcomes of radical surgical treatment of diffuse polyposis of the large intestine].

279 radical surgical interventions for diffuse polyposis of the colon were performed. Lethality was 11,4%. Postoperative peritonitis was noted in 16,8%. The radical surgery was necessary before the appearance of cancer, the operation being performed following the purposeful correction of metabolic and immunological disorders.
