Corpses of 242 Lithuanians died at the age of 14-95 years from Kaunas and its environs have been studied somatometrically . The forearm bones from the corpses have been extracted, macerated and studied osteoscopically by means of a stereomicroscope, osteometrically and electroroentgenographically . The data obtained are treated by means of a computer. The signs of lateral asymmetry in the forearm bones, that is more often right-sided, are described. Sex differences in the forearm bones are also described. These differences could be used as a base for the method of sex determination by means of discriminant functions. Age differences of the bones studied are presented.

Background: Pediatric diaphyseal both-bone forearm fractures are one of the most prevalent fractures in orthopedic practice.
Purpose Of The Study: To assess the anatomical and functional outcomes of hybrid fixation (radius nailing and ulna plating) in treating closed proximal radius and ulna fractures in adolescents.
Methods: This prospective cohort study was performed on 41 patients between the ages of 10 and 16 years, both sexes, with recent trauma (less than 2 weeks) suffering from closed proximal diaphyseal radius and ulna fractures.

Background: The Masquelet induced membrane technique is a surgical procedure that allows the reconstruction of segmental bone defects using a relatively simple approach that requires minimal resources from both the healthcare facility and the patient. Historically applied to the lower limb, this technique is gaining increasing attention in the literature for its use in the upper limb.
Methods: A systematic review of the literature was conducted using the PubMed and Google Scholar databases to identify all studies reporting the outcomes of the Masquelet induced membrane technique in the long bones of the upper limb (humerus, radius, and ulna) with a sample size of at least 3 patients.

Background: Management of the extensive soft tissue injuries remains a significant challenge in orthopedic and plastic reconstructive surgery. Since the thumb is responsible for 40% of the functions of the hand, saving and reconstructing a mangled thumb is essential for the patient's future.
Case Presentation: This case report describes the management of a severe occupational thumb injury in a 25-year-old white Persian male who sustained an occupational injury to his left thumb, resulting in extensive burn, crush injury to the distal and proximal phalanx, and severe soft tissue damage to the first metacarpal, thenar, and palmar areas.

Vascularized bone grafts have been successfully established for complex bone defects. The integration of three-dimensional (3D) simulation and printing technology may aid in more precise surgical planning and intraoperative bone shaping. The purpose of the present study was to describe the implementation and surgical application of this innovative technology for bone reconstruction.

Objective: To investigate the effectivess of arthroscopic Wafer surgery combined with triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) insertion point reconstruction in the treatment of Palmer type ⅡC combined with typeⅠB ulnar impingement syndrome.
Methods: The clinical data of 14 patients with Parlmer type ⅡC combined with type ⅠB ulnar impingement syndrome who met the selection criteria between July 2021 and April 2024 were retrospectively analyzed. There were 7 males and 7 females with an average age of 43 years ranging from 16 to 59 years.
