Studies on pain in preterm infants have usually been confined to observations of painful procedures, and information from extremely preterm infants is limited. We included liveborn infants <32 weeks' gestational age (GA) discharged between January 2020 and June 2024.

Background: Gravid females with pelvic fractures are rarely encountered by the orthopaedic trauma surgeon. The initial injury can be detrimental to the pregnant patient, but an unnecessary "second hit" from surgery could also contribute to the outcome of the fetus. Understanding the surgical risks for this unique patient population requires knowledge about the negative effects of anesthesia, surgical exposures, and radiation.

Background: Early pregnancy loss (EPL) occurs in 10%-15% of all pregnancies but remains an underrecognized and undertreated condition. In Canada, resources to support individuals and their partners facing EPL remain scarce despite a high burden of psychosocial sequelae. Digital health tools hold the potential to fill important gaps in reproductive healthcare.
