Objective: Psychoeducation is increasingly recognised for its value in facilitating adaption to a chronic disease diagnosis. This study aimed to synthesise available literature on the psychoeducation interventions available to adults living with chronic communicable disease.
Methods: PubMed, CINAHL, Embase, SocINDEX, PsycINFO and PsycArticles were systematically searched up to May 2023.

Pathogens often hijack extracellular vesicle (EV) biogenesis pathways for assembly, egress, and cell-to-cell spread. Herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1) infection stimulated EV biogenesis through a CD63 tetraspanin biogenesis pathway and these EVs activated antiviral responses in recipient cells restricting the infection. HSV-1 inhibits autophagy to evade the host, and increased CD63 exocytosis could be a coping mechanism, as CD63 is involved in both cargo delivery to lysosomes during autophagy and exocytosis.

The effectiveness of exercise therapy is being increasingly studied in patients with fibromyalgia. The aim of our systematic review was to determine the effectiveness of different types of aerobic exercise programs for pain management in patients with fibromyalgia. The literature search was performed by two independent researchers in the PubMed, CINAHL and PEDro databases using various combinations of the following keywords: fibromyalgia, pain and aerobic exercise.

Black women have disproportionately alarming HSV-2 infection rates yet receive little attention in sexual health literature. Using a strengths-based resilience framework, this study sought to determine culturally relevant protective predictors of self-esteem for Black women who are justice-involved and have HSV-2. The authors conducted secondary data analysis on data from the "Black Women in the Study of Epidemics (B-WISE) Project," a longitudinal prospective study investigating health disparities and health services utilization among Black women with justice involvement.

RNA granules are cytoplasmic, non-membranous ribonucleoprotein compartments that form ubiquitously and are often referred to as foci for post-transcriptional gene regulation. Recent research on RNA processing bodies (PB) and stress granules (SG) has shown wide implications of these cytoplasmic RNA granules and their components in suppression of RNA translation as host intracellular innate immunity against infecting viruses. Many RNA viruses either counteract or co-opt these RNA granules; however, many fundamental questions about DNA viruses with respect to their interaction with these two RNA granules remain elusive.
