Tumor metastasis is a difficult clinical problem to solve due to tumor heterogeneity and the emergence of antiapoptotic clones driven by tumor evolution. Clinical combination chemotherapy remains a standard treatment for solid metastasis tumors but with worse treatment efficiency. It is worth exploring a high-efficiency and low-side-effect therapeutic method to solve solid metastases.

Pesticides are diluted in products called solvents for spraying fields and for cell viability studies. This study aimed to determine whether pesticide solvents can alter the toxicity of endosulfan and Vero cell viability. Thus, the cytotoxicity of some diluents commonly used in pesticide solutions was evaluated by the neutral red incorporation technique and cell growth.

Background: Colibacillosis caused by causes significant economic losses in the livestock sector worldwide and is one of the calves' leading causes of diarrhea.
Aim: This study aimed to identify the most frequent molecularly pathotypes in calves with diarrhea in six provinces of the Cajamarca region in the northern highlands of Peru.
Methods: Twenty-eight herds of dairy cattle under a semi-intensive rearing system were evaluated; 95 samples were isolated from calves with diarrhea up to the first month of life, 62 males and 33 females, during the rainy season.

Sludge from water treatment plants (WTPs) is usually processed by physicochemical clarification followed by thickening, which results in the production of an effluent from dewatering/drying sludge processes that can potentially impact the environment. This paper assessed the viability of employing sludge dewatering water from a water treatment sludge plant (WTSP) in São Paulo State, Brazil, for reuse purposes. Water quality variables were monitored in the effluent and receiving stream.
