The problem of restoration of intestinal integrity preserves its importance as the intestinal suture is a basis for digestive tract surgery. Tightness failure in the intestinal suture during gastrointestinal surgery is a threatening and, unfortunately, frequent complication, and it gets especial importance in emergency patients and those with severe concomitant pathologies. The results of treatment of 253 patients, suffering an acute disorder of mesenteric blood circulation, were analyzed; the treatment program, applied in 55 patients, was optimized. Timely diagnosis in the tissues the ischemia stage as well as during restoration of blood circulation in a. mesenterica superior, while its proximal occlusion, application of a "second-look" tactics have had secured beneficial results of treatment in patients, the lethality was 33%.

The efficacy was analyzed and comparative estimation of the results was done, based on investigation, conducted in 63 laboratory animals and 30 patients, suffering extended purulent peritonitis, in whom a new method of abdominal cavity sanation was applied, using the "sac" made of polyvynilpirrolidon shell and homemade coal-mineral adsorbent UM--5 for enterodetoxication in complex of treatment after the operation. Maximal removal of microorganisms and their life activities products from abdominal cavity and small intestine lumen, the adhesive process and interintestinal abscesses elimination, the intoxication severity reduction were promoted by a new approach application.

This paper presents the data of the morphological analysis of the healing of small intestine wounds as well as colon wounds and anastomoses created using the microsurgical operative techniques. The possibility of application and the efficacy of microsurgical technique was shown for the suturing of small intestine wounds during stage I and II peritonitis and large intestine anastomoses during the colonic passage disturbances with the epithelization by day 7. The significance of colon wall microanatomical peculiarities for the application of the microsurgical technique was determined.
