Visualization of the cerebral ventricles during radionuclide brain scanning is rarely reported. A case demonstrating the lateral ventricles by brain scanning with 99mCc-stannous glucoheptonate in a patient with lymphoma is presented.

Emerging neurostimulation methods aim to selectively modulate deep brain structures. Guiding these therapies has presented a substantial chal- lenge, since imaging modalities such as MRI limit the spectrum of benefi- ciaries. In this study, we assess the guidance accuracy of a neuronavigation method that does not require taking MRI scans.

Background: Thalamocortical functional and structural connectivity alterations may contribute to clinical phenotype of Autism Spectrum Disorder. As previous studies focused mainly on thalamofrontal connections, we comprehensively investigated between-group differences of thalamic functional networks and white matter pathways projecting also to temporal, parietal, occipital lobes and their associations with core and co-occurring conditions of this population.

Methods: A total of 38 children (19 with Autism Spectrum Disorder) underwent magnetic resonance imaging and behavioral assessment.

Background: The hippocampus plays a crucial role in memory and is one of the first structures affected by Alzheimer's disease. Postmortem MRI offers a way to quantify the alterations by measuring the atrophy of the inner structures of the hippocampus. Unfortunately, the manual segmentation of hippocampal subregions required to carry out these measures is very time-consuming.

Objective: To apply a network medicine-based approach to analyze the phenome of the prenatal fetal MRI and biometric findings in the Chiari II malformation (CM II) to detect specific patterns and co-occurrences.

Method: A single-center retrospective review of fetal MRI scans obtained in fetuses with CM II was performed. Co-occurrence analysis was utilized to generate a phenotypic comorbidity matrix and visualized by Gephi software.

Detecting brain tumours (BT) early improves treatment possibilities and increases patient survival rates. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanning offers more comprehensive information, such as better contrast and clarity, than any alternative scanning process. Manually separating BTs from several MRI images gathered in medical practice for cancer analysis is challenging and time-consuming.
