The gradual increase in the consumption of mineral nitrogen is leading to heightened levels of harmful air pollutants, particularly NO emissions from the agriculture sector. A potential solution to address the issues arising from the excessive use of urea in wheat is the substitution of conventional urea with nano urea. This study aimed to quantify the effects of nano urea, both independently and in conjunction with prilled urea, under various agroclimatic and sowing conditions in India.

Introduction: Diabetes-related foot ulcer (DFU) is the leading cause for lower extremity amputations (LEAs) in western countries, and may cause social isolation, depression, and death. However, people with DFU are not offered the same prioritized care as cancer patients, despite comparable mortality rates. We therefore decided to create a clinical pathway for patients with DFU.

Bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) causes significant economic losses in the international livestock industry and in Argentina, where it circulates at high prevalence. Under high prevalence conditions, BVDV infections are controlled through vaccination once persistently infected animals are identified and segregated. This study evaluated the feasibility of controlling BVDV circulation under field conditions by combining diagnosis, management measures, and vaccination in 2 dairy farms in the province of Santa Fe.

Background: Lung cancer (LC) is a leading cause of cancer mortality in Argentina. Low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) had demonstrated higher efficacy than chest radiography as a screening method for early detection and reducing LC mortality. This study estimates the Budget Impact of implementing annual LDCT screening for individuals aged 55-74 with at least 30 pack-years of smoking in Argentina.

The increasing detection of submucosal tumors (SMTs) in the upper gastrointestinal tract (UGI) is due to the increased clinical use of endoscopy and imaging technology. Some of these SMTs have malignant potential and may cause clinical symptoms. Thus, it is recommended in clinical guidelines to consider resection of these SMTs.
