Retroperitoneal teratomas are rare neoplasms in neonates, presenting with nonspecific symptoms and variable clinical features, making diagnosis challenging. Radiological investigations, particularly fetal ultrasound and contrast-enhanced computed tomography, play a critical role in their detection. Differential diagnoses include neuroblastoma, adrenal hemorrhage, and congenital cystic lesions, which share overlapping clinical and imaging features.

Dyssynergic defecation(DD) is the inability to coordinate abdominal and anorectal muscle contraction during defecation. Patients with constipation often report poor quality of life, sleep issues, and increased risk of mood disorders. Biofeedback is a recommended treatment for DD.

This systematic review investigates the connections between early adversity (EA), such as low socioeconomic status (SES) and emotional abuse, and the development of CVD, focusing on how early-life experiences contribute to CVD comorbidity, a crucial factor in the development of dementia.
Method: Following the PRISMA guidelines, we conducted a comprehensive literature search in databases including Medline, Embase, PsycINFO and Global Health, covering publications from 2000 to November 2023.

This case report presents a unique clinical presentation of small bowel obstruction secondary to congenital partial malrotation of the gut in adults. Partial malrotation may have variable clinical presentations and this case highlights a constellation of patient history, radiographic signs, and operative findings leading to appropriate diagnosis and successful surgical management. A 56-year-old female patient presented with severe abdominal pain, nausea, and anorexia.
