Background: Delayed or incorrect treatment of meningitis may result in adverse patient outcomes. However, laboratory testing in resource-limited settings is often limited to conventional diagnostic methods. We explored the utility of syndromic molecular assays for diagnosis.

This study evaluated the biocompatibility of dense and porous forms of Poly(hydroxybutyrate-co-hydroxyvalerate) (PHBV), Poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL), and their 75/25 blend for bone tissue engineering applications. The biomaterials were characterized morphologically using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and the thickness and porosity of the scaffolds were determined. Functional assessments of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) included the MTT assay, alkaline phosphatase (ALP) production, and morphological and cytochemical analyses.

Hydrogen peroxide (HO) in plants is produced in relatively large amounts and plays a universal role in plant defense and physiological responses, including the regulation of growth and development. In the -legume symbiosis, hydrogen peroxide plays an important signaling role throughout the development of this interaction. In the functioning nodule, HO has been shown to be involved in bacterial differentiation into the symbiotic form and in nodule senescence.

Very limited studies have been conducted on AYA patients in India. This study aimed to identify the cytogenetic and immunophenotype characteristics of B-cell ALL (B-ALL) in AYA patients and determine its correlation with clinicopathological parameters in the Southern India region.

Unlabelled: Many key aspects of retinal ganglion cell (RGC) neurodegeneration in glaucoma are associated with mitochondrial dysfunction. Understanding the mechanisms and relationships between structural and functional changes in mitochondria would be beneficial for developing mitochondria-targeted therapeutic strategies to protect RGCs from glaucomatous neurodegeneration.
Purpose: This study determines the extent of mitochondrial dysfunction in patients with primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) and evaluates the potential for stabilizing the glaucomatous process by improving mitochondrial functional activity and energy production by therapy with Mexidol and Mexidol FORTE 250.
