Background: Bladder cancer (BCa) is one of the most common malignancies worldwide, and its prognostication and treatment remains challenging. The fast growth of various cancer cells requires reprogramming of its energy metabolism using aerobic glycolysis as a major energy source. However, the prognostic and therapeutic value of glycolysis-related genes in BCa remains to be determined.

Objective: Our study aims to assess the clinical effectiveness of using MRI in diagnosing various shoulder pain-related conditions among patients at King Abdulaziz University Hospital.
Methods: 383 patients who were admitted to King Abdulaziz University Hospital and had shoulder magnetic resonance imaging between January 2020 and July 2024 were studied retrospectively. The dataset was subjected to a thorough statistical analysis using descriptive and inferential approaches.

This study aimed to probe the influence of amylose in starch granules on starch modification. Part of the amylose from sorghum starch was removed through warm water leaching, and the samples were then microwaved. The effects of treatments on starch structure, physicochemical properties, and digestibility were researched.

Aging has a significant impact on brain structure, demonstrated by numerous MRI studies using diffusion tensor imaging (DTI). While these studies reveal changes in fractional anisotropy (FA) across different brain regions, they tend to focus on white matter tracts and cognitive regions, often overlooking gray matter and motor areas. Additionally, traditional DTI metrics can be affected by partial volume effects.

Goal: Current methodologies for assessing cerebral compliance using pressure sensor technologies are prone to errors and issues with inter- and intra-observer consistency. RAP, a metric for measuring intracranial compensatory reserve (and therefore compliance), holds promise. It is derived using the moving correlation between intracranial pressure (ICP) and the pulse amplitude of ICP (AMP).
