Objective: Racial and ethnic discrimination is a risk factor for substance use among United States adults. However, whether discrimination is associated with substance use disorders (SUDs) overall and by race and ethnicity is less understood.
Methods: We used data from the 2012-2013 National Epidemiologic Survey on Alcohol and Related Conditions-III (n=35,355) and defined past-year discrimination as a summary scale (range: 0-4).

People with HIV (PWH) smoke cigarettes at triple the rate of the general population in the US. Efforts to increase quit rates in this group have met with limited success. The nicotine metabolite ratio (NMR) has shown promise as a phenotypic marker that may be useful in selecting the most appropriate cessation treatments for people who smoke cigarettes.

This study aims to examine the burden of diseases, injuries, and risk factors in the USA and highlight the disparities in health outcomes across different states.
Methods: GBD 2021 analysed trends in mortality, morbidity, and disability for 371 diseases and injuries and 88 risk factors in the USA between 1990 and 2021.

Background And Objective: Apalutamide (APA) is a treatment for metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer (mCSPC). In the ARON-3 study we investigated real-world experiences with APA treatment for mCSPC.
