Background: Immunization clinics present an opportunity for passive screening for malnutrition among young children through plotting of growth charts. Passive screening for malnutrition can enable timely interventions and improve morbidity and mortality of under-five children. Therefore, we aimed to increase the plotting of growth charts (weight-for-age) to 90%, among under-five children attending immunization clinics in an Urban Health Centre (UHC) in south Delhi over three months.

Background: Higher weight represents a significant health concern in youth and may be influenced by socioeconomic and behavioral factors. We investigated the relationship between BMI and parental education, nutritional health, eating culture, organized and non-organized physical activity (PA), motives for PA (weight loss/maintenance, enjoyment), and screen-time in children and adolescents.
Methods: 677 2- to 11-year-olds (young-age-group) and 464 12- to 20-year-olds (old-age-group) from Leipzig, a city in Germany, participated.
Objective: Presenting at academic conferences is an important means of disseminating research, networking, and building a professional reputation, but the quality of presentations at conferences is often suboptimal. This project describes the design, implementation, and evaluation of a presentation coaching program offered by an academic surgical society to presenters at its annual meeting.
Design: Oral presenters were paired with a coach and encouraged to meet independently, yet coaching was unstructured.
