Fallopian tube papilloma (FTP) is one of the benign lesions of the oviduct and is a rare proliferative epithelial lesion. Low incidence and underreporting of the disease limit our knowledge of these lesions. These lesions cause a diagnostic dilemma and need to be differentiated from several other conditions of the fallopian tubes both benign and malignant.

Objective: To investigate the association between Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and the rate of embryo development, using time-lapse monitoring systems (TLM), compared to a control group of women with mechanical (tubal) factor infertility.
Design: A retrospective case-control study conducted in a university affiliated IVF unit.
Patients: Women with PCOS undergoing in-vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments and those with non-PCOS controls with tubal factor infertility only.

Isolated fallopian tube torsion (IFTT) is a rare cause of surgical emergency and is difficult to diagnose. We present a case of IFTT in a 14-year-old girl who presented with an acute abdomen. Based on the clinical and computed tomographic findings, an initial diagnosis of ovarian torsion was considered.
