Garlic has been consumed globally as a functional food and traditional medicine for various ailments. Its active organosulfur compounds (OSCs) have demonstrated significant anticancer properties, particularly against gastric cancer. Purpose: Postoperative thirst is common and distressing to patients, as is pain and nausea. The causes of postoperative thirst are complex and include factors like preoperative fasting, perioperative fluid loss, and certain anesthesia medications. Effective care for postoperative thirst has been shown in post-anesthesia care units (PACUs), but many Japanese hospitals lack PACUs or do not address thirst in their PACUs.

The application of the person-environment-occupation-performance (PEOP) model in occupational therapy education offers valuable insights into the interaction between person, environment, and occupational factors and how these elements influenced the strategies used to adapt and navigate the transformation of health professions education during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study explored how individual characteristics, contextual demands, and the nature of educational occupations shaped the adaptation and performance of educators and students. This video explores the technique of robot-assisted pyeloplasty using the Da-Vinci Single-Port robot through the supine anterior retroperitoneal access in a 28-year-old male with a right-sided ureteropelvic junction obstruction. The patient was placed in a supine position, with a 10°-20° elevation of the ipsilateral flank. Retroperitoneal access was obtained at the McBurney's point for the placement of the port.
